PowerBox Sensor Switch Question
Have a PB Sensor Switch into which I have two TP2100mah LiPos for my RX power.
After a few flights, a recharge shows 600mah going into one pack and only 200mah into the other. Is this the switch pulling more out of one pack? Should it? Is one pack slowly degrading? Should it even be drawing equally? Any thoughts? |
RE: PowerBox Sensor Switch Question
Give the guys at Duralite a call and ask them. If it works like many of the Li-Po battery management microchips on the market, the switch senses the present density of the charge in each pack and adjusts the current flowing into each pack for charge. There a several semi-conductor manufacturers that make the control chips for these type switches. I was surprised to find out that they are very inexpensive too. I hope this helps you.

RE: PowerBox Sensor Switch Question
Do you leave your batteries plugged into the PB when not in use?

RE: PowerBox Sensor Switch Question
Yes, but that is not a problem apparently.
Just to clarify, this is the sensor switch, not a PowerBox http://www.modellbau-deutsch.com/e/p...nsor/start.php Rgds, Mark |
