rookie-2 question
Was wondering if anybody has used the simjet 1200 ( 18lber ) in a rookie?
And if so how did it perform? Will be flying at a grass field and just wondering about the take off roll . I see lots of posts with 25lb turbines and up. Really don't want to buy another turbine at this time. Thanks in advance............JOHN |
RE: rookie-2 question
Not done it my self, but I was going to put a 18#er on a Kangaroo, after done my home work I knew I was going to be happy with this combo, but I end up with a 23#er 'cause the deal was so irresistible and not much difference on the bill.

RE: rookie-2 question
John, I'm flying my roo with a p-80 that its 19lb. My friend is flying his rookie with same engine as I. Other pal is flying another roo with amt-180 with 18lb. I belive that someone here post a thread about a rookie with a P-60 wich have less thrust than the SJ-1200.
Conduct a search and you will find more info. For me you shouldn't have any problems with that combination, just keep her ligth. |
RE: rookie-2 question
