Flying in New Jersey

I am moving to Oldbridge NJ in about 2 months .. what are Jet (turbine) friendly fields nearby ? I know of Floyd bennet in Brooklyn NY, but is there anything closer in NJ ?

Thanx everyone !

Hope somebody knows of one...I'm about 20 minutes from old bridge and would like to find a jet field around central jersey somewhere myself.

Wojtek,

The only other paved field in NJ is in Lakehurst, which is a longer drive than Brooklyn, albeit no tolls. However, there is a grass field in Edison where some of us fly jets. The field is tight, however, we are turbine friendly. If you are interested in helping us locate and acquire a better location, contact me offline.

hey Vinny, is that you?!?!? This is lee. Anyhow just to let you know I got that pipe back from JMP ( don't know if you remember when I blew it. ). I just read that the jet rally this year ('02) is two days, please verify. If that is the case the a4 is ready along with I am finishing up and painting the starfire. Right now I am in the process of building the extremely huge Josh Harel's A10 ( I believe I told you about it) anyhow, with the current activity of building right now I think I will be debuting it maybe mid next year. Until then, hope you bring more projects to the table and shake up the stable as the summer progress.

Lee

I've just moved in to NJ also and am looking for RC flying fields. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also can someone post a picture of a RADIO CONTROL MODEL AIRPLANE? I'd like to see what they look like.

Thanks.
