what brand paint do you guys use on your models and what would you recommend for a scale cessna 182 wood finish what would you use to seal the wood. i was thinking fiberglass resin only no cloth your aircraft are composite so i was just woundering your opnion.

You'll have to first glass it with finishing resin and half ounce or 3/4 ounce cloth, otherwise you'll just soak so much resin in all it will become is heavy, the cloth adds strength and allows for MUCH less resin to be used. Then after you get that all done nicely and sanded out, you'll need to prime with a 2 part filler primer such as KC36 or equivalent (PPG primer)
Then any of the automotive base/clear systems will work great. Keep it light and you'll have a good time painting and a better time flying. Just remember, ALL those paints require excellent ventillation and safety precautions.
