Multiplex Super FL Digi

Hi
I originally posted this on the Multiplex manufacturers section but didnt get a responce( very disappointing). I bought two Multiplex FL Digi to drive the ailerons in a ducted fan plan I am building.
When I got the servos I realised that they didnt come with a soft mounting system to protect the servo from the worst of the vibration from the motor.
I have three questions.
1) Does anyone have any experience in using these servos
2) Will the foam of the foam core wing give enough vibration dampening for me to safely use these servos.
3) If the answer to question 2 is NO then does anyone have any suggestion on how I could mount them in a vibration kind way? Right now I am thinking along of attaching them to a thin G10 hatch. Atnd then attach the hatch to the plane with rubber grommets. ( ie normal servo style)

Thanks in advance

Mike

RE: Multiplex Super FL Digi

Hi Mike,
Yes I have used these servos for years and they are very good for slim wings. However, these servos were concieved for glider & electric models. If you have room I would use a plate, mount the servos to this plate using the MPX system which works well. (wax the servo body before assembling the clamp ends and epoxy in place) Then mount the plate in the wing using silicon rubber. About 2-3 mm gap should work well.
Best Regards,

John
