let me toss in an "o" at this point. With a little talent, everybody can build himself a "wow" whenever he needs it....:-)

RE: scratch building

Sorry you guys, something went wrong there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so lets have another go!!!!!!!!!!!
Are any of you interested in scratch building any of the following jet powered model aircraft?
Boulten Paul P111.
Rafale.
Douglas FD4Skyray.
All are of traditional balsa/ply construction with foam wing cores.
Max. take off weight around 12kgs.
I have built the Boulten Paul P111 as well as the Skyray and they go together very well indeed. The Boulten flies like an RC trainer!!!. The skyray has not flown yet as I have just finished it. Plans, as well as canopies and cores are available at the following address:-
[email protected]
www.offshoreel.com
The guys name is Klaus Franken and he speaks english!. I'll try and upload some photos later.

Nigel, do you have more pictures of your Boulton ? While a few guys might not like it, I find that it looks kinda cool [sm=cool.gif]...

And perhaps also do you have in flight videos ?

Thanks

Hi Strykaas, I dont know of any sites that are dedicated to the Boulten Paul P111.
I know that it was an experimental design and there was only one, or maybe two were built in the late 50's. the purpose being to study the delta planform.
Nigel.

I have had some mails saying that there is no info concerning the Skyray at the site I listed. I talked to the owner and he told me that he has not got around to adding the Skyray to his site. Anyway the plans and conopy etc. are available if you mail him.
Nigel.

Actually if you surf the site as above and hover your mouse over the blue and white images, then you can see the B&P!

RE: scratch building

Talking about scratch building, do any of you guys know who else has plans of jet models suited to scratch builders. I know of Nick Ziroli's panther, Dan Palmer's Couger (which will be the next one I will build). This is a big World, there must be others in this game!!!, or must I start designing myself?.
Nigel.
