Introducing Airworld USA
Hi Guys,
Just a quick note to let you know that Airworld USA is open for business. At the recent Jet World Masters in Hungary, I was approached by Hans-Dieter Reisert, the owner of Airworld, who wanted to make the Airworld brand better known in the US and Canada. Airworld USA was formed, and we are now the exclusive importer for the Airworld product line. Airworld USA is a “real” company. We are not an after hours garage business, which was my number one criteria for agreeing to doing this, so the phones will be answered at regular business hours. We are located in Los Angeles, CA, where we have our warehouse, office and showroom facility. The showroom is currently being stocked (A lot of models have to be built) and is scheduled to open in Spring. Our website is www.airworld-usa.com and it has all our products listed along with online support forum and 24/7 shopping facilities. We hope to maintain our existing network of dealers, making it easier for them to order directly from us and not having to call Germany. Over the next few weeks we will be adding additional lines of aircraft, helicopters and accessories. We will be advertising here on RCU, so keep an eye out for banners announcing the new lines. Airworld USA is an authorized JetCat dealer. Our first outing with the new company will be at Florida Jets. We will have a number of our planes on static and flying display, and have arranged for the current world champion, Mr. Thomas Gleissner from Germany, to be one of our demo pilots there. Thomas will also be competing at Top Gun with his Airworld BAe Hawk. Please take a look at our site. There is plenty of interesting stuff to look at. Best, John Christensen President Airworld USA Heliworld USA |

RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Hi John,
You certainly are up and running. I am dumbfounded at how beautiful the layout and design of the site is, it is so much easier to navigate than the european site. The photos and videos download very fast and the information is obvious and concise. What an awesome effort. The excitement is building in me to see these models and accessories perform locally at our field. This is absolutely top shelf product. Best wishes, Joe Kelley |
RE: Introducing Airworld USA

RE: Introducing Airworld USA
John, Best of luck with the new venture. Sounds like you have the right mind-set and you definitely have the experience and knowledge. I fell in love with the AW Mig-21 the first time I saw pics of it! I'm not a jet jock yet, but I have strong aspirations...just the wallet isn't strong enough right now [:o] Someday though!
All the best, Rob / katchmarek |

John. . .
Congratulations on your opening! Airworld was long overdue for proper representation in the USA and you are the person who will "Git er done!" The quality of the Airworld product is only surpassed by your endless abilities in the world of Digital photography. I look forward to continuing our conversation of several nights passed to add our Artes Micro Turbine line to the already growing list of premier products. With four state of the art turbines ranging from 14 lb of thrust to 36 lb of thrust coupled with service second to none, you will easily satisfy the demands of your jet audience. Again, congratulations and much success in the future! Sincerely, Eric Clapp jetArtes Gulf Coast Distributor Artes Micro Turbines USA and Canada www.jetartes.com |

Hey John,
Congrats on the new business. You know I'm gonna have to have one of those L-39's. I'll be in touch with you soon. Tommy |
RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Awesome news John ... about time these kits were more accessible over here. I just hope you're not so busy with this venture that you forget to finish your most important task - the jets & Bikini Babes Calendar (now rumoured to be featuring Veronica Gamba and the Starjet).

RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Good luck with your new venture John!
Does this mean I don't need to continue with my Hawk manual as you guys will be preparing a lovely full colour heat bound manual from now on? :D Rgds, Mark |
RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Congratulations. Beautiful site John.
A few things need fixed though. On the second photo of the Hawk page it directs to the wrong photo. It links up to a Panther photo: http://www.airworld-usa.com/DSC_2008.jpg On the Panther page most of the cockpit photos don't bring up bigger photos to show the detail. Also the next 13 photos after the airline photo don't have any links at all. Same deal with the Cougar cockpit photos. I am sure these will get udpated when you get them available. Again the site is very nice, and best of luck with the venture. BC |
RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Woody, Looking forward to that. We will try hard to have a MIG-21 ready to fly for FJ.
Johnny, will call you. Tommy, I knew you would ;) Just wait till you see the new one out of Henry's shop. Gordon, Gamba will be no. 1 on my list. Mark, No, you are now our "numero Uno" manual writer. I hope I can get you to also continue your build thread in our Hawk forum :) BC, thanks for the heads up. Will get it fixed today. |
RE: Introducing Airworld USA
Hi John,
Just wishing you good luck - I've built a couple of airworld models and found the very satisfying (FW190 and P-51). Wishing you every success... Jeff |
