RE: Fuel Pump?
I have been using a Kavan for many years with no problems. Just run it on a 7.2 car pack. From the photos the Kavan looks just like the Sig pump. V..

RE: Fuel Pump?
The main problem with the Kavan / SIG pumps is that you have to be very careful about the orientation when mounting them ... the pumps have a tendency to leak after prolonged use, and when gasoline or jet A leaks into an electric motor, it's not pretty. So, you need to ensure that you mount it with the motor above the pump.

RE: Fuel Pump?
Greylor is the source for the jetcat pump and the tamjet pump I believe. Last I bought one it was less than 50 bucks shipped or thereabouts.
I've bought 4 of them and they are great. One of mine is three seasons old and has pumped somewhere between 100 and a 150 gallons of fuel. |
