I will disclose that I sell them but it is an outstanding sequencer and very flexable. You can do any sequence and timing with it. It will know if your gear switch is in the gear up position when you turn on the transmitter and not raise them until you cycle the switch. You can select doors open when the gear is down, doors closed when the gear is down or have the main gear doors open and nose gear door closed or visa versa. It is also in a very small package.

Jet-tronic door sequencer

I have this sequencer in use since Mai 2001. It works great, the programming possibilities are various.
September this year the following happened:
Tx (JR MC 24 PCM, Rx DS 20 MC 35) on, landing gear switch in position "gear down", I switched the Rx on, suddenly the landing gear collapsed: both flaps and front wheel door broken!

I dont know why this could happen. It seemed that the sequencer got an initial input from the Rx resulting in this damage.
or can improper programming could be the cause? anyone knows more about that issue?

Jet-tronic door sequencer

Hi mec:

The gear switch up detection when powering up the transmitter was added this year. If the receiver put out an erroneous pulse during power up, this could of detected it.

Do you use a 6 cell battery? If so, and you have a fresh charge, it can cause the sequencer to glitch. Even if you have a regulator! I put a diode in series with the power lead to drop the supply voltage by about a 1/2 volt to the sequencer and valves if I use a 6 cell pack. A 1N4000 or equivalent diode works fine.

thanx bob,

I use duralites providing approx 6.46V under no load (under load 6.06V) when fresh charged.
the sequencer is not the latest version (18 month old).

sequencer

Someone gave me a jet-tronic sequencer and I to use it but I do not have the instructions for it. I wonder if one of you kind gentlemen have the instructions for this sequencer?

Patrick
