Pro Mark graphics not tacky anymore.. help
ive got some pro mark graphics that are not tacky anymore, does anyone know of a way to make them useable again??
thanks jason |
this may help
Jason
Have you tried heat on them? Im not sure but I think a covering iron on low heat sould help them become sticky again. Ive got some that did not stick on initial contact, but are sticking fine once I heated them. Use the protective cover sheet on top of them to prevent damage. Or warm the area with a heat gun. Try this on a sample section first! Let us know if heat works on yours. Iam pretty sure there are alot of people in the same boat. It's funny how we buy graphics thinking we need them now, then we never get to them! Dustin |

Dustin,
I just tried putting the promark graphics over the toaster for a while and it certainly made them more tacky and they did stick to what I tried them on. thanks jason |
Pro Mark graphics not tacky anymore.. help
I encountered the same frustrating situation with ProMark graphics that had languished on a shelf (in protective wrapping) for some time. By comparison, I have never encountered that problem with markings produced by Aeroloft. Must be a different process, eh?

Hi guys, Dustin is right. You want to warm the surface not the carrier. Too much heat on the carrier sheet will make the sheet warp and make it hard to apply the sheet to the surface.
Bill Harris. p.s. Hey Dustin, I would be glad to sign your waiver application. I've seen you fly andwould be happy to. Did not have your e-mail address to get mack to you, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. |
