RE: Up For A Challange??
Should be good fun. What air speeds do you anticipate/recommend on maneuver entry?
|
RE: Up For A Challange??
bobber. As for the speeds? It is up to the pilot and his aircraft.

we would be glad to have you. Mark |
RE: Up For A Challange??
Mark, I am really into this kind of event. Very exciting to see some aerobatic contesting with jets. Great idea. All manuvers perform on center? I see the split ess and half cubans etc as end box manuvers, are your rules putting these on center?
Joe |
RE: Up For A Challange??
Joe, I am very happy this event is being well recieved by many pilots. for the most part, the maneuvers will be show center, but there are a few that of course cannot be show center.

RE: Up For A Challange??
I recieved an e-mail the other night asking about the aircraft for this event........
For this event, ANY AIRCRAFT that is either TURBINE POWERED or DUCTED FAN. easy enough. Just a reminder, Turbine WAIVERS - a must, and for those of you north of us, MAAC. Mark |
RE: Up For A Challange??
this is totally jammin and will also raise the bar in general for piloting skills.great guys.

RE: Up For A Challange??
I am sending out flyers and a letter with updated info, ie; hotels, directions and more info about the airport.
the only addresses I have are the ones listed with JPO. AMA only lists names and the town you are in , no street address. if you are not a memeber of JPO and would like the info mailed to you, PM me with your mailing info and I will send it asap Mark |

RE: Up For A Challange??
Unclejoe, Friday is a sanction day, no test flying during the day, in the evening i dont think there should be a problem, and the day before will also be test day, thats after all set up is done....... and have ok from airport, which they said probably won't be a problem

ORIGINAL: trioval00 Gordon mac, thanks for pointing that out, typo on the web design, will correct as soon as the web designer gets home from work, (daughter) i will call her and let her know Advanced class #7 3 vertical loops mark Good luck with the event, regardless of what you call each maneuver. My favorite maneuver name is a "humpty-bump with (rapidly diminishing) options". Describes some of my flying style to a T. Gordon |
RE: Up For A Challange??
Gordon mac, are you coming to this event?
Maybe we could have "east vs west" ????????? I'll even put up a traveling trophy, which is each year we add the winners name to the plaque and the winner keeps it for 1 year till the next event. Mark |

RE: Up For A Challange??
How will you be determining what class someone enters ? ( also assuming you don’t know how many show up ? ) how about a 1 round “qualifier” ? set like 4 – 5 maneuvers which will be judged … based on scores from highest to lowest you can populate the 3 classes evenly … this way you prevent overzealous individuals from being in over their heads in the expert class, and give the ones who underestimate their abilities a chance to see for themselves what they got …
im planing on being there ... definately sounds interesting :) ??? Voy |
RE: Up For A Challange??
