Hi Guys

I am very interested in purchasing a JetLegend T45 .
I would greatly appreciate any input on this kit that anyone may have, likes dislikes engine size etc...
Would this plane operate off a 400 foot grass field ?

I have the same question, and also what size engine are you guys flying it with? How is the quality and the landing gear on the new kits. I also will be flying off of a long 600 foot grass field.thanks for any advice ,Jack

T-45 will not take off at 400 ft grass field with P-60. But if you using P-70 for power. It should not be any problem at all.
We fly the proto-type on tarmac runway. It only took about 200 fts to rotate with P-60.
We have one finish production in our shop right now. We putting this one together for instruction manual. Hope we able to finish by the time our first container arrive.
We expect the products to ship from china mid July. So we talking about mid august for delivery.
Air shipping is available right now. But the problem we can't QC. So it can be a problem if the QC is not satified by buyer.
Be little patients for slow shipping.

We've just received the JL Hawk kit. It's exactly the same length of fuselage as the PJP Hawk sold here in the UK, but the wing is substantially larger (about 10 cm if I remember correctly). The PJP Hawk flies very well off a grass strip with a Wren 54 SS (gets off in about 60-70 metres) and has flown off the same strip with a standard Wren 54, though that took quite a lot more grass on take off. The JL kit seems to be very good quality in moulding, glue application and detail. The retracts and oleos appear to be very good. Obviously the proof will be in the flying, but if we can keep the weight below 8-8.5kg dry, it should fly very well indeed. With the slightly enlarged wing (over scale) it should improve the flying characteristics.

Yes Ted.
It only need P-60 to fly.
P-70 for extra power to take off from short grass field.
