Remote Tach
 

Can anyone tell me what my options are for a remote tach on my ducted fan?
I have seen references to PMP, but I'm not sure who they are.

My good friend Pat F from Dallas use to sell them. I bought couple from him many years ago. Pat lurks around here, maybe he can give us an update on PMP

Remote Tach
 

I have one homemaid by a friend. It has a LED and a receiver mounted in the intact duct and stripes painted on the 'spinner'.

This fires an external LED (higher powered) which you aim your standard tach at.

I plan to interface this with an LCD display (on board) so I have a permanent tacho in the jet for my BVM fan.
