Kangaroo test flight
I tested kangaroo yesterday and flies OK. C.G. is 105mm from the frot edge wing tube. But Im not satisfied with elerons and elevators which are mix together and they must be 3-4mm up for horizontal flight with 1/3 power. With full power I have to trim down and when idle I have to trim up. I put 4 washer to lay at the back screws... I would like to have the control surfaces in line with wing. Probably the turbine is to much up at the rear screws... What do you mean??

Yes, sounds like you have too much "nose-up" thrust on the motor. With the Kangaroo, raising the aft of the motor produces nose-up thrust, so remove several of the washers under the back of the engine. I started with two washers and after I got comfortable with the plane, I reduced it to one.
Do note though that removing washers from the back of the plane increases the tendency for the engine thrust to force the nose down at low speeds and high power settings. This can be an issue in situations like go-arounds and power-on stalls. Beware the Kangroo "chicken-flop" and if it happens to you, decrease power to idle *immediately*, get the airplane flying again, and then add power as slowly as possible to fly out of it. It is a fun trick to do at altitude on purpose though... Bob |

Also, it is normal to have some reflex up of the elevons, at least on the two Roos I had it was. Bob

Yes, I agree, some reflex in the elevons is still necessary on mine, probably around 1/8" or so. However I don't have issues with trim changes with power. Full power, once its up to speed, is the same trim setting as 1/3 throttle or less...
