Pat McCurry Models.

Hi. My friend Harry Sydner placed and PAID for an L1011 with the above individual Pat McCurry over six months ago.He has received nothing but empty promises , including emails stating messages such as "Shipping on friday next" etc.,all of which have proved untrue. Harry has now heard that Mr. McCurry is working for a very long established Florida Jet Manufacturer and as Mr. McCurry no longer replies to his emails or even acknowledges them any information about this person would be of great assistance as we both live in Ireland. Paul.

Paul, if you do a search for PCM Models you will find what looks like a new web site and some information indicating that their phone and e-mail are disconnected because they are moving to a new location in Florida. Gary

No, its the same old website and its said that since sometime in June. Not sure what happened to Pat, but we've had a DV8R kit on order since May and haven't seen it. Pat promised me that he'd ship it before he moved but that didn't happen. We've since decided on another aircraft for our UAV work. A very familiar story in the small RC manufacturer world unfortunately...

Hey,

I don't know all the details, but Pat seems like a stand-up guy. I hope this comes to a happy ending.

For the time I've known Pat his been 100 percent, I'm sure this is only temporary and issues will be resolved.

After thinking about this a bit, I don't think its really appropriate to call him there to discuss PCM Models business - unless of course, the PCM line is being absorbed by BVM. If they are to remain seperate, then I think Pat should provide another means for customers to get in touch with him and make good on promises made...

I think it should be perfectly fine to reach him there. If someone has sent him money for a kit and he has neglected to give his customers updates as to the status of their purchases or a current number to be reached , especially purchases that occurred months ago, then you have no choice but to get in touch with him the best way you can, regardless of what business the number leads to.

Just call BVM and if Bob answers, ask him where's my DV8R kit?

PMFJI and FWIW, Pat is an honorable gentleman.

Take it from your humble moderator, Pat is now aware of this problem and will take care of it pronto

In consideration with the foregoing, I'm going to close this thread and give Pat time to rectify this omission.

Best Regards

Ben

An old thread I know. But does anybody know how to get hold of Pat at all these days ? Would really like to make contact with him.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
