JHH panther
Any body building one? .How is it? Good or bad?

JHH panther
The JHH panther is a smaller plane but great flier. If you plane on installing a lager engine like 90 size the tuned pipe will stick out the back of the plane. It's counter part is the JHH F9F8 Cougar. Lage area for Turbine conversion or Larger engines. Lands very slow. Great plane.

Just be carful, That Turbime might be a little too much for this small of a plane. This plane was designed for a Turbax .46 fan unit which puts out about 8 pounds of thrust.

Dr. Jet likes super sonic stuffs. Go ballistic with the JHH Panther and Cougar. Anyone converted them for turbine? Thanks.

B777,
I flew a Cougar for several years using the Golden West Models FD3/67--and it was great! Will be using and selling Wren engines in the near future. A 12# thrust turbine is more than enough for both the Cougar and Panther. Loads of space for fuel in the Cougar and about 200 sq. in. more wing area than the Panther. The MW-44 (7# thrust) would be ideal for the Panther. Best regards, Larry Wolfe [email protected] |
JHH panther
Larry, I have both the Panther and the Cougar and will put 12# turbine in them. I must say that both kits are excellent in craftmanship and completeness. Dr. Jet will have them flying soon..I can feel that he has the needs for speed. Don't forget to re-inforce...any suggestion here Larry?
