winterizing bone head move

ok guys, without laughing to hard this is what i did....

I have a amt 180 that i went to winterize. I meant to put a little oil through the fuel line to lubricate the bearings. What I ended up doing was injecting it through the airline........ Now, I am not sure what I should do.

Is it going to be ok like this?? Please advise on what I should do.

thanks,
larry

Bonehead move?

The only bonehead part here is forgetting where the air goes.

The air in an air start engine spins the compressor blades. Imagine putting a little bit of oil on the compressor while the engine was running.

No big deal.

None of my engines (totalling more than 14 in the past few years have ever been "winterized" ).

I was under the impression that the air on an air start engine start spins the turbine wheel......right or wrong?.....Perry
