roller bearing

Todd,

I assume that you are asking about the one-way bearing ?

If you are, These a called roller clutch bearings( one way bearing ) and I replaced mine with one from a bearing parts house here in Pocatello.

The brand name was ' Torrington '
Part number...... RCB-061014

I used torch heat to get the bearing out and epoxy to secure the new one in. There is a snap ring on the back of the socket probe that comes off ---piece of cake......

hope this helps

Byron Starter Wand question

No.....Not the bearing! What I need is the rubber starter insert that the shaft fits into to attach the shaft to the starter. There are diffrent sizes of rubber inserts, I need to know what size insert fits the shaft tight and still fits into the starter??

If you are talking about the rubber in the starter, we use a pink one probably a sullivan product. It has little to no tapper on it. It is very tight. put the rubber thing into the starter and cram the black extension into it.
Good luck!
