Flying sites in the Dominican Republic??
 
Does anyone happen to know if there are any flying sites in the Dominican? I am traveling there on the 27th of this month and would love to check some out if possible. :)
I will on the north coast in Cabarete.

In Cabarete you will be able to fly yourself if you are good in KiteSurfing! For RC models and jets the correct person to address you is Alex Dupy. His screen name is alexdu, send him a PM and he will help you out. Good luck!

Hi Myles. I don't think there are any flying sites in Cabarete, escpecially for jets. By the way, I would think that you will be having too much fun in Cabarete to think about flying..........:D:D If you come to Santo Domingo then let me know so you can come with us to Hobbyland. We usually go on Sundays.

I want to try kite surfing when I get there! It looks like a blast!
We were going to go to Santo Domingo but ended up deciding on the north. If everything goes as planned I will be taking my Logo 20 helicopter though. :)

Myles, it is a blast! I rather do some kitesurfing here in Puerto Rico. And it is really fun. As Alex said you will have a lot of fun in Cabarete. But if you still want to hang with the dominican RC flying gang. Alex is your best tour guide. Just make sure you get in contact with him when you get there, I'm sure he will take care of you.

Saludos Alex, make sure Myles get to your flying field during his visit.
