FUEL AT FLORIDA JETS

Good News!
One of the Fuel Vendors at Lakeland Airport has agreed to send the Fuel Truck over to our event every day at a specific time. I realize that some of us don't get to the field as early as others so we need to come up with a time that is agreeable to most guys that will require the fuel. It can be morning or afternoon.
If we have to stop flying to allow the fuel truck to arrive via the Taxiway, it will only be for a few minutes.
Once it has arrived we can get him off the active runway to a "Fueling Area" and continue flight operations.
Any ideas? Anybody care either way?Let me know what Brand of Turbine Oil you prefer as well.
But one thing.......As far as Turbine Oil, please respond to my personal Email. [email protected]

Thanks,
FT

Frank,

How about having the truck arrive just prior to the noon time demos?

Just a thought...

Excellent thought.
I'm thinking that maybe the first day he might come earlier so that our friends from other countries,
who possibly have NO fuel at all, can tank up.
Good idea, I'll give it some consideration!
Thanks,
FT

Frank,
Why not get about five 5 gallon cans filled and on kept on hand for when the truck is not around. Sell it can and all for $20-$25 whatever it would be. That way it is readily available for any latecomers if you have the truck in the morning.

Yea, I would think that having the fuel truck come and go during the noon-time demos would be less disruptive and easier to coordinate - only one or two guys to get to land so it can come/go...

I think coming earlier on Thursday would be OK - there's less going on then than Friday/Saturday. Getting a fuel truck in and out on Saturday during regular flying would be tough, I would think.

BP 2380 oil would be good to have for sale along with aeroshell 500?

Hey Danny,

Why don't you just bring over a Long Ranger and land it in the parking lot over by Johnny's RV so we can siphon all the Jet-A out of it? That would be much easier! [&:]
