Jetronic retract valve

I am having problems with an electronic retract valve and thinking of replacing it with a Jetronics valve. This is for air up, air down. The valve I have at the moment is spring loaded to one position so when the radio is turned off it is guaranteed to keep air pressure on the legs down, if it is plumbed in the correct way! I have a vague memory of reading that Jetronic valves don’t work like that and just dump the air when turned off, is that correct?

RE: Jetronic retract valve

Harry you are right . The jet tronics will dump the air when turned off. A servo robart type valve set up will solve the problem. I use them in the bvm F100 and have no problems. It you have quality retract units they should stay locked with out air and the electronic will be fine. Good luck Dan Avilla
