cracks in gelcoat
Hi im building my roo2 and i found littel cracks in the gelcoat of my fuse they are all on the edges of the fuse .
the fiberglase is not cracket . is that somthing to worry about . |
veertje
From my experience - the gelcoat is usually brittle, and so when the fiberglass layer flexs, compressed, or being handle in way which cause it to change form (deformed) - all this will cause the gelcoat layer to crack.
So you should be OK...but if this crack is in an area where you could inspect the glass from the other side, then just have a peak at the associated area just to be sure. |
