Greylor changed their ordering page
Can someone smarter than me, please tell me which option out of the drop down box I'm supposed to pick? I know I want the Pq-12, but there used to be no options that I could screw up!

Order it from Tam :), it's as simple as just one click there. but i think what you want is the PQ-12 (12V, HDPE, HS (0) - EDPM - #001-120101)

Sean,
You'll want the PQ-12 (12V, Delrin, HS (0) - VITON - ) Unless you want the holes pre-drilled then specify the amount of holes instead of the (0) KC suggested HDPE housing and EDPM seals. They both will work but The Delrin is static dissipative and is a good choice for a fuel pump. It is less brittle than the HDPE as well. The Viton seals have excellent weather, synthetic lubricant, chemical and other oil resistance. EDPM are mostly used in food service. |

That's the same question I had asked 2 weeks ago.
But I finally just decided to spring for a Jersey Modeler and be done with it. |
RE: Greylor changed their ordering page
Snoozer, I remember your thread, and I didn't realize they changed it. I can't remember if I said anything in that one or not, but I clearly didn't take the time to go check, that site had been the same for probably 5 years and it was always very easy to get the right pump.
I ended up just getting three from Todd at Dreamworks and being done with it. My first Greylor pump was bought 4 or 5 years ago and pumped about 300 gallons of fuel if I had to guess. It quit this past weekend just as the overflow of my Rookie started getting wet. Fitting end to a fine pump. but thanks guys. |
