Radiocontrol ?
Hi
I´m a regular rc-flyer in Sweden that have just discovered jets !! My question is if I want to buy a GOOD radiocontrol (the transmitter) that will cover almost al requirement of flying jets etc. and will last for a LONG time. What should i look at ? I´m willing to pay up to 1000-1200 USD. Regards Philip |
RE: Radiocontrol ?
Hello Philip.
A lot of us use the Graupner MX22 transmitter. It is a nice handheld transmitter. I have had one for 5 years now with complete success. It has 12 channels on PPM and 10 channels on PCM. Basically I would recommend any brand TX with at least 10 channels. |
RE: Radiocontrol ?
Futaba 12 Zap 14 channels (12 proportional+2 on/off channels) Easy to program.

Philip,
The JR 10X is by far the most popular transmitter. With the advent of Spread Spectrum you may want to wait a while on your purchase. There are some really interesting things on the horizon. John S. |

RE: Radiocontrol ?
Hi Philip
JR 10X is very popular, Graupner MC 22 & 24, Futaba 12 & 14 MZ are all great for jets. My suggestion would be to go to the local jet flyers and see what they are using. This would help you do setups on your jets. Welcome to the wonderful world of jets! Zane |

ORIGINAL: GrayUK 35 meg i think Paul I know quite a few jet guys from Sweden, so if you don't know any, I can leed you in their direction if you like. |
RE: Radiocontrol ?
Thanks for al the replies !!
The local guys here in Sweden use mostly the mc22-24 radios. I do like the mc series alot, but here in sweden its like 1300$ for a mc24 and it soooo oooold (for that kind of cash i would like something more I think). I think we fly on the 35mhz. Regards Philip |
