12FG regular
Hi
Does anybody know when will the new Futaba 12FG will hit the European streets? I mean the 35 Mhz version, because for the time being the 2.4 Ghz version will have to prove in time, altought I sure it will be the future tech. Nuno |

RE: 12FG regular
I've read somewhere that it was due to be released early summer too.
According to Futaba's own website the 12FG is a 2.4ghz set only. I'm not sure about the 12FG. What's going on with the normal aerial fitting on top of the TX and also the short aerial for the 2.4ghz module on the back, see http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk9200-2.jpg... Is the 12FG not originally a dedicated 2.4ghz set or something that Futaba have rushed onto the market? Jeff |
RE: 12FG regular
The 12FG will be a Tx. module based system.
That way it can be purchased with what ever frequency the buyer requires. It will use the same module as used by the 14MZ and the 12Z. modtron Oxford UK |
RE: 12FG regular
If you go to www.robbe.com, you can see that the 12FG is in the regular 35 Mhz, but no stock available. Futaba will have it too in a dedicated 2,4Ghz - no module, and the it was the 2,4 Ghz that I read somewhere that is going to be released in "early summer".

RE: 12FG regular
Maybe someone should tell Futaba about it being available as a 2.4 system on it's own as they are not doing it.
The earlier pictures (pre Toledo) with the short aeriel have been confirmed as false images. Futaba themselves have said that this set will be module based with the frequency being chosen buy the prurchaser. modtron Oxford UK |
RE: 12FG regular
what about the 12 FG in this site - www.2.4gigahertz.com

RE: 12FG regular
The radio shown on that web site is what is coming - It is a module based system transmitter.
It uses the same modules as the MZ14 and 12Z. If you look in the Module section - it even tells you what transmitters they will be fitting into. The picture shows it with the 2.4ghz module and the aerial being off centre and coming between the back case and the handle. The previous pictures of the transmitter with 2.4ghz only and the short aeriel are false images. modtron Oxford UK |
