That happen at Bader Field one of the first airports in the USA ,in Atlantic City,NJ. Seems the pilot/owner of the a/c (Believe he was from Norway or Denmark) wanted to land at Atlantic City international airport, Runways of 10000' & 6500'and is about 9 miles from where was staying ,he figured he would save the Taxi fare.:D . Also the plane was trucked out directly to a scraper "salt water plays H*ll with aircraft.

The airport has been closed (2006) and when this water landing was done it was closed to all twins. It was mainly used by "Banner carriers"
