Roo control throws?
I would be thankful for anyone who can tell me the control throw for a roo with elevons, and the c/g for this bird.

Roo control throws
25 mm (1 inch) up/down and 25 mm (1inch) aileron travel is in my opinion a good value to start with.
We fly our roo's off grass strips. To get it airborne we have 55 mm (2,25 inch) up elevon travel. Since the turbine is on top of the aircraft, it pushes the nose down. A dual-rate switch, witch is programmed at the gear switch sets the elevon travel to normal values for flight. When you fly off tarmac, 25 to 30 mm (1 to 1.25 inch) is enough to get it airborne. |

I recommend to dual rate the ailerons, around 15 mm as it has a high roll rate. CG is at the front mounting screws of the main gear.

c.g. is located at 90-100 mm front of the alu spar, not from the center of the spar, from the front edge.
25mm up and down is perfect for normal flying. Graupner recommends 25% expo on both ailerons and elevator. One thing to remember, is to set your neutral at 1/8 # up. Best of luck. Chris |
Thank you all
Thanks for the info.
