Roo canopy glue....

Just cut out my Roo II canopy

What should I glue the window in with ?
CA or epoxy?

The manual doesn`t mention anything about the windshield.

DONT USE CA!! It will fog the canopy with a white haze. Epoxy will work or...even better "The Worlds Greatest Canopy Glue" is the stuff you want, not sure if it is available where your located. Comes in a small bottle and looks like Elmers white glue. Dries clear....

Sonnich
Use Pacer Canopy Glue, it is like the one Todd is reccomending or go for the European UHU allplast.

Clear silicone works good too,if you ever need to remove the canopy from the frame.

Roo canopy glue....

I highly reccoment the canopy glue. I believe the stuff I use is made by Pacer Tech (same people that make ZAP CA), and it is white like Todd was talking about. It gives an amazing bond, easy to work with, dries clear, won't fog, cheap, etc...
Polycarbonate is difficult stuff to work with (as far as sticking things to it, painting, etc...). Its impervious to just about everything---but the canopy glue works great on it.

Roo canopy glue....

Thanks for the help guys...

If the windshield would blow loose due to the extreme forces my Sonic 120 turbine wil subject my roo too :D Can the Roo fuselage handle all the air coming in to it, or is there a chance that it will blow up in flight ?

the roo fuse will not be harmed at all.......however you will probably be in need of another canopy as it will not fare well in such a situation
