Sandor

Yes, they come with the AR9000 "twin" Rx and the module. I'm going to stick this in my Turbo Raven and go back to my PCM 10x or MX-22.

Here you do.
http://www.alshobbies.com/shop/looku...124e8e0180e298

Its a module that fits your standard JR Transmitters ( Also available for Futaba ) They come packaged with a 9ch Spektrum Receiver. Thus making it more suitable for jets that require more than the 7ch previously available with the DX-7 sets up till now. Regards Al

I also saw this on JR`s web site:

JR’s breakthrough X9303 2.4 system has shipped to dealers throughout the U.S! The new system combines the high quality 9303 transmitter, widely known for its sophisticated, yet easy-to-use programming, with the proven reliability of the Spektrum 2.4GHz technology. The result is an unbeatable combination for airplanes, helis and sailplanes. With integrated 2.4GHz modulation, the 9303 2.4’s speed is lightning fast, and resolution is a phenomenal 2048 steps.

Will the 9 channel module make use of all 9 channel on a Futaba radio???

I believe Dave is talking about the 2.4 9303 and not the AR9000 modules.

Aparrently not Michel, it only utilises 8 of the 9. I am very dissapointed to say the least. Ray

If using a MX-22 make sure you only use PPM 18 because I had serious issue when I set it up on PPM24.

RE: Spektrum DM9 systems

Keep in mind the only reason you get 8 channels with the Futaba 9 is because it only has 8 channels of PPM data stream. Your ninth channel is an off and on channel, not a fully proportional channel.

this is all very interesting, i'm so scared of being shot down by a silly accident. guys, do you think (or know) that the main receiver and 1 satelite is sufficient, does 1 more receiver add a little more signal "sighting"? is it good practice to use the extra (3rd) (or even 4th) receiver? the onboard monitor i presume will help to tune the setup, but if the signal is poor, does it just go in the crash? how safe is this gear, is it , as we're lead to beleive just plug in and go? does the receiver bus-bar carry the current of a handful of high power servos ok? not trying to knock this system, i'm close to buying it, just thinking of that saying "if it sounds too good to be true"! any dissenters out there???

RE: Spektrum DM9 systems

There are two recievers on the main board and the satellite is the third.
You can buy extensions to put the satellite in a different part of the model.

No system is foolproof, and there never will be a 100% guarantee of a radio link.

Actually mine does work on PPM 24. and only locks up when moving all sticks rapidly.

Flew at a big show yesterday

the MB339 had the ar9000 with 1 optional receivers
the velox had the ar9000 with stock receiver
absolutely no problems , you feel really better to know there is no one who can shoot you down ...

Ali, I was told today from your MK shop that the Futaba modules will not be available for another 2 weeks. Is this true ? I am returning the JR one that was sent to me when i ordered a Futaba one.
Ray.
