Small panel mount voltmeter
Anyone have a source for the small LCD voltmeters, about 1" x 2". I also have seen them in a 1"-1.5" round configuration.
I need a couple of them for one of my new planes and for my new power box panel. Thanks---Tom |

Tom have you looked at the I4C Products voltmeter, they are about the size your are talking about. I will look for their web address later and post it for you.

This are very nice and good, but watch out they do not have a built-in load tester. Kelly

LOL! Check out the Jameco PDF file for the digital meter:

Yes, I have noticed that the external battery is required on the cheaper Jameco's.
I will probably go with that one for my power box, since I have the voltage available, but will stick with the I4C one for the planes, since I don't want to stick in another battery. I have one in my current flying Bandit. It just did not have a label on who made it, which is why I posted originally. It looks exactly like the I4C unit. It came in a D/F plane I bought a couple of years ago. They sure are pricey though. Thanks again for the help Tom |

The full spec reads 7-11 V @ 1 mA A 9V battery will last quite a while at 1mA. If the battery is objectionable, then step down/up the DC supply per requirements. A 3 kOhm resistor will drop a 12V battery down to 9V if the 1 mA draw is correct. |
