digitech,

while your reply is extremely helpful, i would like some more specific details.

For power he has a P120 - im sure its enough. he is using a 9C Futaba, i was wondering about control movements and such.

We do not know the recommended CG since we dont have the manual.

ON THE WAY!

I have a Titan in one of these! Vertical is awesome !

120 is good Titan is better if you want vertical. The airframe is very cg sensitive. 1/4" behind the recommended aft cg and you are in for a ride when landing: ask me how I know.

Is the manual accurate with control movements in normal, take off and landing modes ?

I used the recommended throws. The ailerons could be tamed a bit but I like them at the factory specs. About 3 revs per second at 190 is very cool but it will also slow roll like a pattern ship if you tell it to.

Yes, there are people flying it with the P 70.

Hi i3dm

I've been flying mine with a P80 and it's more than adequate if you fly from a sealed strip. If you fly off grass you will probably need the P120. I started with the control throws at about 50% of what the manual indicated as they looked too extreme to start with. The flaps are questionable, generally if there's a bit of wind I dont use then for take off or landing. Only in dead still conditions will I use the landing flap and then it's about 50% of the recommended setting.

All up, I love this model, it's my first turbine and I've found it very easy to fly and land. The only drawback is the shear pin arrangement in the main legs but the Jet 1A trailing leg arrangement is well worth looking at. I'm going to retrofit these to mine when they arrive.

Have fun.

Rod
