I think you should get a free kit from skymaster.... maybe two...

since you were the one who :

Invested your Time.
Did the research.
Found the color scheme.
Bought and /or collected the pictures.

Its the color scheme that makes the "model"...you should not be..... NOT rewarded for your "modeling" work!!!

You have to be kidding, that paint scheme is in public domain.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to get the custom scheme?
its on their website.

Seriously? You think I don't know that?

I'm asking how much it costs to get a CUSTOM scheme. Presumably he paid up front some amount to get a unique paint job. I'd like to know how much that fee is. Is Andy the only one here who mis understood my question?

Maybe I need to be more specific in my questions. Feel free to PM me the answer, I'm just curious.

Guys,

I wanted a large scale F-16 so ordered a 1/6 scale Skymaster. Always like to go for my 'own' scheme so supplied all the pics/info for the scheme below and paid for it! Skymaster tell me it is now ready to ship. Looked at the website and now they offer "my" custom scheme as a standard scheme [:@]

Why offer "CUSTOM" schemes if you're then just gonna put it into production

Annoys me.

Rgds,
Mark
Hi, Mark

I had a little confused it,

before you never said it , Skymaster can not offer this color scheme to another customers, and you only sent a few pictures to us,

We only offer the external painted cost $ 480.- USD to you for this color scheme with our camo color same cost , we never asking you pay the extra,

If you do not Skymaster make the offer this color scheme again, you must pay more cost to us, right?

Thank you for understanded,

Best Regards

Anton

Anton,

and you only sent 3 pictures to us,
Well, it was actually 24 pictures I sent in total BUT as I said a couple of days ago....

Anyway, I'm over it - was obviously in a bad mood last night !
I also admitted that I realised I had only really paid for the custom paint job and not exclusivity!

I'm just looking forward to getting it :D

Now, let's try again.....can we close this thread please moderators? :)

I'm painting an F-22 in Thunderbirds scheme. If USAF dares to ever use an F-22 for Thunderbirds then they owe me a Raptor............and I'm not sharing! :D
I'm sorry but... this was at JetPower..!
Maybe you'll have to share with at least another jet jockey...!!!

Truth is if you want a one off paint job learn to paint. I do not fly. Off road 1/8th scale only, but i learned to paint my own shells and guess what, I am the only one with those paint schemes.
See you never Painted an Aircraft ... most of the paints used on jets require respirators, even full body suits..

True, so I went out and bought one of these Joe!! Nothing like the satisfaction of doing it yourself!!
