Whoop, cut one white stripe and add "Royal Air Force"

And the red looks duller.

It might make the "Royal Air Force" more prominent for the overseas tour but it just doesn't look right. It might look more balanced if the white stripe had been retained and the "Royal Air Force" done in red in the same size as the new white lettering. I guess we'll get used to it in time, but for now its horrible. Sorry Reds !

According to a friend who is in the know, they changed the scheme as a large proportion of the general public, when asked, didn't realise that the reds are part of the royal air force! To try and counteract this and to stress that they are part of the RAF they simply decided to write 'Royal Air Force' on the side of the aircraft. Persoanlly I think it looks awful.

.and its official. The newspaper reports that the Reds have been banned from the 2012 Olympic is RUBBISH. Source : Red Arrows themselves ! You just can't believe whats written in the papers these days.

Reminds me of the day I was GIVEN a free copy of the sun, Still think I was ripped off !
