Kangaroo, Help!!
I purchased a composite Kangaroo at Florida Jets and have been looking at the Ply cut parts and need some help on identifying what and where some of the Ply parts should be located in the Fuselage. The parts I am referring to is the 3 or 4 sided interlocking ply parts that looks like it builds into some sort of framework to hold servos or something. They are not identified on the plans anywhere that I can see.
If you can help please send pics. or let me know where they are suppose to fit in the fuse. Thanks in advance for the help, Gary |
Mystery Parts
Hi Gary
Yes, those intricately routed parts make up the servo trays. There should be a picture or two in the manual that shows them assembled. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to e-mail me off line at [email protected]. I'm currently building up our demo plane and am working through the instructions. Ed |
Extra parts?
You may be refering to the set of parts in a bag that allows you to mount a pusher prop engine on the rear. It came with my kit and are extra parts if you are going to install a turbine.

Kangaroo. Help!!!
Thank you very much for the help guys. Nick is correct on this one, I assembled the pieces and it indeed fits to the rear of the Kangaroo for a prop mounted engine.
Nick, Thanks again for the help. I have been looking at those parts for two days and could not figure out where they could possibly fit in the fuse. I also noticed that you are in Ohio and curious where you fly, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio on the north side and we have a little bit of a difficult time finding places to fly the turbines w/o driving a long way. Are you near Cincinnati? Best Regards, Gary Jefferson |
Kangaroo, Help!!
I got my undergraduate degree from Miami U., but I now live west of Cleveland by 30 miles. I belong to two RC clubs (one AMA and one non-AMA). The non-AMA field has a paved runway (my favorite).
Here is the site I maintain for my non-AMA club: www.eriecountycloudclimbers.com Thanks |
