Shut off vaule
For an added measure of safety it is always wise to add a manual fuel shutoff valve. It is also good practice to keep the valve closed except when starting and running the turbine. It will help avoid getting any fuel in the turbine during fueling. In the event you need to shut down immediatly just close the valve.

Shut off vaule
strong,
According to AMA Gas Turbine Regulation #13:) (HA!) : "Two methods od shutting off the engine must be included. One of which must be operable by the pilot in flight" The FADEC will shut the engine down in flight without the fuel solenoid. I use a Tetra #4311 ball-valve which is available from Central Hobbies. With this , you can elliminate the solenoid valve all-together. You have to be sure to close the valve prior to fueling though. When the engine starts spooling up on start, just open the valve and watch the magic happen! Anyway, the manual valve satisfies the requirement for "two methods of shutting off the engine".
