Newbie help

Hi All,

I am about to commence building my first Jet trainer and have been advised by a good friend that this may be the forum to help me out.
I am looking for a scanned copy of the Five jet article from the RCJI Magazine published April 2001? I have contacted Traplet but have not had any luck.
Anyone have building/flying experience of this Turbine trainer?
Many thanks in advance for any info.

Best regards,

Scotty [sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: Newbie help

Hi Scotty, I have built a couple of Five jets over the years.
I flew my first one with a Wren MW54 12lbs thrust.
I lost that when it tip stalled coming in for landing.
My second one had a MW54 14lbs thrust which made a lot of difference
to the vertical performance.
If you let me have your address i can photo copy the review and post it on to you.
You can find more info on the web site http://www.arrakis.es/~rcpalma/Five-Jet/
The jet is quite easy to fly but floats on a lot when trying to land.
