I have used the bulk wire from Airwildpilotshop.com bulk 50 foot bundle, high quality twisted wire / silicone insulation nice stuff and very flexible.

An option that requires zip ties:

22awg stranded is 5.00 per hundred foot.

In my opinion in threads like these, I would like to see sources outside the hobby. Unless you think these companies are stranding the wire together and coating it, you are paying too much for the product.

There are a lot of cases where it makes a lot of sense to pay someone for their hard work and effort. But paying a dollar a foot for "BVM airline" vs paying .07 cents a foot for buying "polyethylene 95a durometer tubing" in any color you want, to me is a no brainer, it just takes some effort to figure out what works best.

Anyone buy three conductor 22 awg wire 3 conductor from an online source? I could not find it, but does not mean it doesn't exist.

You can chuck the three leads up in a drill and twist it together.

I think I remember where Steve Elzey (sorry if I butchered the spelling of his last name) used a three or four conductor wire, with shielding to make his own servo leads, which resulted in a very elegant, no noise solution. I THOUGHT the trick was to be sure the shield was connected to the negative side of the wiring. This would be interesting as that type of wire would be much stronger and easier to route, etc. Also, the prospect of shielding all noise out is appealing. I think he and Dawn's been using this for quite some years.

Can anyone confirm the above and the type of wiring used?

Mike, I'm not sharing my secret airline until somebody gives up the servo wire. I'm tired of doing all the research where to get fuel tubing for .07 cents a foot, airline cheap, and not getting someone to tell me where the JR or Electrodynamic three conductor wire can be found for .10 a foot. I could go down to my local electric supply house today and put this to rest, but it's somebody else's turn :D

For airline, you can try McMaster.com.

polyethylene tubing, 1/8 outside dia, 1/16 inside dia..

No idea on servo wire, but must be there

These guys look as if they might be able to help out - only problem is they are in your neck of the woods (USA).

If things work out let me know;)

No problem just throwing out Radio Shack as an option. I am sure they don't make the wire just sell it.
