Fail safe help
I'm trying to set the failsafe up on a Fut.9C,how do I change the % for throttle setting in the transmitter?I'm trying to set it to a Jet cat ecu.
Thanks Frank |
RE: Fail safe help
You just set it in the endpoint menu. Just follow the directions in the JC manual with regards to the 100% and 75% settings for failsafe. You usually have to reverse the throw for the throttle channel on Futaba radios.

RE: Fail safe help
when you're in the endpoint menu and it shows all the channels, you can't set the throttle to 100%? Can you set the other channels to 100%?

RE: Fail safe help
Martu,
If I remember correctly, go to the F/S menu. Now move your throttle stick to the full throttle position. Now push the set button/wheel (?)...the F/S setting should sy 100%. At idle it should say 5-20%. With idle trim at zero, should say 0%. Play with the buttons and you will go "OH! *****! Why didn't I think of that! (I have to play with it each time I set up a new plane..... Hope this helps. Greg |
RE: Fail safe help
Thanks everyone,I got it.When I was setting the max end points it would only read 99%.I tryed it at 99 and it worked. All is good now.I took out my Ram 500 and put in a P-70 in my Babby Boomerang, It started up first time and ran great. The power out put feels like it could be double of the 500.This is going to be fun.The 500 has been very good for me I guess I was one of the luckey ones with it.I just wanted to get use to the P-70 before it go's in the FEJ F-16.The 500 will go back in the Babby Boomerang.
