Need some help.

Well, I decided to learn how to fabricate metal and weld so that I can build me a turbocharger jet engine. I am sick of things holding me back, as I feel that I have to challenge myself, and this is what I want to try. I have started listing parts as I have read all the accessible information on; how they work, safety, etc. But I do have some questions hoping you guys could help me.
What should I use as an oil pump, I want about 30 psi for the bearings?
What should I use for a fuel pump with lots of psi, I am going to run it on propane first of coarse, but for future reference?
What should I use to control the voltage of the ignition coil, fuel pump, and oil pump?
Do you people think you could help me answer these questions?
And don't worry, I will have ear protection, fire extinguisher, safety glasses, and keep bystanders far away from the hazardous areas.

Interesting , there is a big difference between a turbocharger and a turbojet. Those differences need to be sorted out before you begin.
Good luck:)

I meant the jet engines in which you take the turbocharger and add the combustion chamber. I know I have to get the primary air mixed in with the gas for combustion and the secondary air for cooling. Gotta keep flames out of the turbine area to prevent damage to the turbine.;)

Using Google as your search engine, search "Home made jet engines"
You will find a wealth of information there.
RC jet engines are not made from turbocharger housings, so this forum isn't the best place for that particular knowledgebase.

Well thanks anyways, if anyone has info don't be afraid to post it, I greatly apreciate it. And I don't plan on using it for RC, just for research and enjoyment.

Many engines are based on auto turbochargers. Your best bet would be the GTBA (Gas Turbine Builders Ass.) See Mr. GOOGLE.

There are home built enthusiasts out there who have made many interesting and machines (My favorite is the wood burning turbine - yes, it worked - very well, too!!!) If I were you, I'd check all the sites you can find, and there has got to be at least one forum out there... If not, many of the web pages have emails listed, so you can email them directly...

Good luck with your project !

Here are the first two links I got from google but there are many more pages of links. I think many of our RC engines use turbocharger compressors.
