RE: Fuel proofing link ??
First, coat the wood with CA glue or epoxy resin and then use a completely fuel proof paint such as PPG K-36 PRIMA (polyurethane primer) . Sand lightly with 220 grit, and then brush two coats on the wood, and one coat on the fiberglass and glue joints. (Catalyze the K-36 with K-201 and do not use any reducer). Drill a couple of small holes on the bottom of the model to allow any accumulated fuel or oil to drain out between flying sessions. Harley Condra BVM REP JetCat REP . |

Or if you want to save some money use Rustoleum. I would buy an 8 oz. can of flat black and an 8 oz. can of flat white, then mix them until I got a shade of grey I liked (a lot more white than black). Rustoleum is fuel proof and holds up very well.
