P-60
At FJ this year, Bob Wilcox had in his booth the combustion chamber from the JetCat P-60. He said that its development was delayed a bit while the P-70 was worked out.
Now that the P-70 is out, anyone have any ideas when the P-60 might appear? Bob |

P-70 not out yet
The P-70 is expected to be released the first of June. If all goes well at Jet CAt , should be a great little motor.
Has the rotating parts of a P-80 and a smaller diameter, about 3 1/2 " same length as a P-80. expecting some in June. Don Bybee Miniature Turbine Sales & Service |

Please tell me what you can publically in the thread and I'll PM you for the rest - if there is any more. I'm a simple customer not associated with JetCat in any way, and according to how I read the RCU rules, you can respond to my question without crossing the line... Thanks! Bob |
P-60
Matt - there's no problem with you answering specific questions such as when the P60 is available, or providing answers to any technical questions etc., as long as the answer doesn't end up as marketing hyperbole and sales pitch ;)
Remember also that you have the additional option of posting any new P60 / P70 information in the Product Announcement & Manufacturer News forum (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forumdispl...s=&forumid=134) Later, Gordon |
P-60
The P-60 will probably be about 4-8 months away. It is an 11 pound thrust motor, much smaller that the RAM 500 sized motors.
The part you saw at Florida was the case, not the combustion chamber. It is between the size of the 54 mm and 44 mm motors. I cannot find the pic right now when I find it I will post it. |
