Ghost_Rider's final moderation act.

After many years of performing the thankless task of moderating this forum, this unsung hero has decided to go on sabbaticals.

The Teflon Ghost has removed his vest and transformed into a Saint (lol). "Old soldiers never die; they just fade away."

Should any of you think you have what it takes to moderate this great forum called “JET’S FORUM”, please do not hesitate to send me a PM and I would forward your name to the appropriate authorities.

As a final moderation act in this forum, “I’m closing this one” (jk)

Ben...it was a pleasure serving in the mod corps with you. Many, many, many b*tch, but few step up...you did it for much longer than I did and I salute you. I think Marc should give life platinum status to all mods...but thats just me.

Enjoy not having to deal with shills (there are many, including current threads), whiney people complaining about how you're affecting their business (even though its they who are breaking the rules and would have no business were it not for RCU...including one who has posted on this very thread), manufacturers complaining about how another manufacturer is breaking the same rule that they're breaking in the very next thread and people calling you a communist because they have a right to free speech (though they don't on this site)!

Enjoy retirement! Hit the early bird specials! Hike up your pants just below your armpits! Yell at the kids on your lawn! Complain about how the government doesn't give you enough free sh*t!

You have earned it all. I think that you really enjoyed the interactions with the "people" on RCU :D ....to your credit, you were civil, fair and a credit to this site and all jet modelers.

The Moderator Ghost_Rider did a great job in bringing this forum back to being a great place for REAL discussion and information. We don't need to go back, LET GO FORWARD!!!!! dw, would et antics be, that you bought a jet joe from him with the details spelled out, but you expected it to run like a jetcat? et may have been typing with the devils advocate in mind, but with you it is over a deal. period. so be honest with your reason. this goodbye tour is lasting longer then cal ripkins:D. i dont think there is a user that didnt get cross with ben a time or two, but he endured and in the long run there was no hard feelings. it is a thankless job. take care benghostkgb1 old bud and enjoy some stress free flying. barry

Thanks for all your help on and off RCU. You were always fair even when people did not like to hear the truth. You have proven to be a good friend and a very honest man. God bless you, now that you have some time to just have fun. I will see you at Winnamac next week.
