Commercial source for this pump?

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I hope this post is within the rules. Sorry in advance if it is not.

Does anyone know a commercial source for this pump? Wilcox used to get them but he does not have them any more.

I am not trying to make a fuel can or undercut Jersey or anything like that. I need one for a liquid cooled shirt I made (it works awesome BTW).

Thanks in advance,

Thanks Sean and Neal!

When I get this fully set up I will post pics, this shirt is a riot and works incredibly well. I have been going through hobby glow pumps like popcorn, I hope this one will hold up better.

These pumps used to be simple to order since there were few choices - they Greylor went & redid the page with a gazillion options !

Here's my ordering notes from my "rc parts source" doc

http://www.smartcart.com/greylor7/cg...item_num=PQ-12

Select options:
• PQ-12
• Delrin
• HS(0)
• Viton

Matt,
I suppose you are using water (or something water based) as the coolant.
If that is the case I would think a windshield washer pump would be a better choice than a fuel pump.
I think the seals in a fuel pump usually need the lubricating properties of the fuel to maintain a seal, but windshield washer pumps are designed to work with water based liquids so they don't need lubrication from the substance they are pumping.
Probably a lot cheaper too.

mcmaster.com part # 8220K32

Funny, they no longer recommend this pump for Kerosene, but they do provide a compatibility guide for various types of solvents/liquids.

Hey Kevin,

Yes that might be better, I wonder if an autoparts store just has them lying around that I could take a look at?
