ECU Programming ?
Deleted.
Sorry to have bothered you. |
RE: ECU Programming ?
You didn't mention which engine.
For JetCat, on the GSU: Push Limits Use the Arrows to move to Maximum RPM (should show your current max rpm) Hold down the Chg Value / Item button while using the - or + Arrows to set the rpm down or up. At this point I always push the Manual button but I don't think you have to do that anymore. You're done. You don't have to re-learn. The PID control loop will automatically adjust itself the next time it gets to your selected max rpm. |
RE: ECU Programming ?
Which engine brand are you referring to?
Most turbine brands use their propriatary ECU, so the procedure varies from brand to brand. You need to be more specific. In all of the turbines with which I am experienced, when you reduce the top end RPM, that is the only function effected. No other parameter will be altered. Reading your post indicates you already have an engine, so why don't you read the manual for the procedure for you engine? |

It is always a good idea to re learn the ECU after changing parameters, may not be necessary but it only takes 30 seconds so why not. BTW the stick on the left controls the max RPM why not just use it??? DR |

David.......
Come on now....You know better! Everyone reads the manuals. You and I both know that there are no jet flyers (or wannabees) with reading deficits around here. |

When you get in your car in the morning to drive to work....nobody pushes the throttle to the floor and leaves it there until they park it at work now do they? Same thing with the throttle stick...it's better to have the power and not need it than to need it & not have it! Don |

I apologize for coming here. I forgot who I was dealing with. [:o]

Star
If you would have provided what turbine you have then the issue could have been resolved. |
