Glow plug and plug tool.

Is this the glow plug I need for the Artes Super Bee?

Where can I get a small pick for pulling a loop out of the plug?

The plug you want for your Super Bee is the McCoy 9, not the 59. You can get a nice set of the little picks at Lowes in the tool section.
The 9 will work better and last a lot longer than the 59.

Why not just bend a small hook in the end of a 'T' pin using a pair of needle nose pliers.? This has always worked fine for me.

I was going to suggest the bent T pin but I don't even bother to bend it ;)

OS A3 glow plugs work very well and are pretty easy to find. I suggest heating the plug with a ni starter first and let it cool before pulling out the coils. Makes them much less likely to break.

A3 plugs have a shorter reach than the McCoys. It appears to be about 1/8" shorter than a McCoy. To make up for the difference you need to pull the element out quite a bit further to reach into the chamber. If you pull the element out far enough the A3's work fine.
