12X is buzzing... Is this normal?

I am in the middle of setting up a new Jet on my 12X and the transmitter is buzzing.

It is a low to medium frequency buzz/hum coming from the speaker. It changes frequency when you first power up and the two blue bars light up.

Anyone experienced similar?

Thanks

Johnny my Broda,

Mine does it too so it must be a 12X characteristic? Man you got some good hearing as you can barely hear it. I DO see that you got some good eyesight too so keep those Hotties comin Bro!

Actually, it is audible about 4 feet away. Sounds a bit like when my cell phone is too close to my PC speakers except it is a constant buzzing.

More hotties is on the way... Don't you worry ;)

Hi John,

I noticed that buzzing sound while flying Saturday morning at Fresno.............At the time I thought it was some "back ground noise" left over from the beer-rum-Grand Marnier-tequila-beer-vodka debrief on Friday night! I had not noticed it before.

I just pulled the 12X out of the case and turned it on.........Sure enough, the buzzing is still there.........on the TX that is;) It is definitely coming from the speaker.

Tailwinds,

John

I think its a spectrum / JR 2.4 thing. I have a DX-7 for a commercial application that does this, and I noticed my new 12X did the same right out of the box...
