skymaster f-15

1 Attachment(s)
picked up a wrecked skymaster f-15. it is a few years old but repairable, all but the left wing which has a bit of damage. Are any replacement parts available or does anyone have some parts from a wrecked one laying around.

thanks Kevin

possibly, but right now I want to see if I can locate some usable parts, I also have to finish stripping all the electronics and turbine out of it. Kevin

That's gonna be tough. That's the Gen 1 kit. I highly doubt you will be able to attain anything from Skymaster directly and doubt the new version wings would fit but you never know. You could contact Jeff at Skymaster USA and have him check with Anton though.

I have the Gen 1 kit as well but unfortunately I am flying mine right now:D;)

Ian, I spoke with Jeff already, the wings are not available but the nose may fit, he is checking on that for me.

I would think someone has a pile of parts laying around for one of these.

Hi guys

Just to let you know, the nose from the new kit does fit in the old kit without mayor modifications. One of our jet flyers in our club, wrecked the nose of his old kit and changed it for the new one with out problems.

Regards

is there a way to get in touch with your friend to find out if it was a straight forward change? thanks Kevin

I have a set of unused Gen 1 stabs and vertical fins with rudders, unpainted if you need those.

Kevin-

I gave a pair of Gen I verticals, horizontals, top deck, augmenters, and a wing to a friend of mine (Pete Hubik) earlier this summer. I'm not sure what he's used, but he may be able to help you out.

Brg, Mark

RE: skymaster f-15

any parts i could come up with would be great, I put the nose back together and it will be fine with a little bodywork and paint, the left wing has me concerned though.
