Smoke question
How much smoke fuel do you carry and how long does it last? I was thinking 16-20 oz tank? I know it depends on how much you want to use it. Trying to get an idea for here and there use during flight.

RE: Smoke question
I like a lot of smoke for a long time that's why they call me smoking Sam:). At least 28-40 oz is good for me(depends on airframe capacity for smoke). I use the Sullivan smoke system and it is great...

My Big Boomer carries 24 oz and I built my own smoke system using an old turbine pump. My system uses an ESC to control the flow of smoke using a slider switch on the TX. A couple of clicks on the slider and I can have smoke the whole flight which is 8 min or I can go max flow on the slider switch and it will pump 8 oz a min so the tank will only last less than 3 min. The first couple of photos is light, the rest are heavy.

RE: Smoke question
Any one has a formula for mixing the proper fluids to get the best smoke? I have been using dry smoke and it is great, but now it is not available where I am at. I can get deisel, ATF and paraffin here. a mix ratio would be appreciated..
