12x programming question
I am new t the 12x and I am trying to assign the slide levers on either side of the radio to aux channels. TThe odd aux channels seem to allow assignment of these levers, but the even aux channels don't. By allow, I mean it appears as an option on the switch graphic in the device select submenu. Is this normal?

RE: 12x programming question
You should be able to assign the levers in the inital start-up menu (hold enter while turning on) under device select.
If that's not the answer to your question, then let me ask what exactly are you trying to do so I can try and help you out. Christopher |
RE: 12x programming question
That is where I am. If I select an odd aux channel, like 5 or 7, and I bring up the graphic, it hilghlights the slide levers as I thumbwheel through the various switches. If I use an even channel, like aux 4 or aux 6, all the switches are options except the two slide levers. They won't highlight as I thumbwheel through the graphic.

RE: 12x programming question
Okay, I see what you mean when I played with mine. Don't know the reasoning behind that unless they assume that's where many people put their gyro gain???
Sorry I couldn't help you out anymore than that. |

Apparently the 12X only lets you use the sliders on certain aux channels. Why? I have no idea but it sure would be nice it you could use them on all the aux channels. I had to rearrange my channel assignments mid-programing when I discovered this limitation. Craig |
RE: 12x programming question
Thanks to both of you for the responses.

Craig In Keith's example, the left slider ("LLVR") or right slider ("RLVR") can be mixed to any Aux channel. Set the Pos values and you are done. Still not sure why they don't just include all the switch positions in the DeviseSEL menu for all channels but at least there's another method to do it. Hope this makes sense. Craig |
