JetCat Smoke Pump Question
Guys,
Sat here on train and remembered I have a jetcat smokepump in the workshop. However, I have 3 Booster 160s! Anyone know if the smoke pump needs a jetcat ECU to work properly? Any other way of using it? Or does someone want to swap for a tamjets pump!? :) Cheers Mark |
RE: JetCat Smoke Pump Question
Mark,
No need to swap for the Tams pump. The JetCat works just fine as a stand alone pump operated on a spare rx channel. You can even operate it at variable speeds with a slider switch if you want. That's the way I have mine set up and it works just fine and in fact, very similar to a Tam's pump. Take a look at the manual here and it explains everything. http://www.jetcatusa.com/PDFFiles/Sm...tionManual.pdf Craig |
RE: JetCat Smoke Pump Question
Mark,
The Jetcat smoke pump has a RX mode which allows it to be used with any engine. |
